Red Velvet Ice Cream and Waffles

  

Stack these protein packed, low carb, gluten free waffles high..then top your waffle tower with Protein Milkshake ice cream🍧!

 

Protein Waffle Batter:

• 1 serving Protein Milkshake Cupcake Batter

• 1 tablespoon coconut flour

• 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

• 3 tablespoons egg whites or egg white substitute

• 1 teaspoon white vinegar

• 1-3 drops natural red food coloring (based on the color you want to achieve)

• 1/4-1/3 cup water or almond milk based on desired consistency

 

How it's made:

1. Preheat waffle iron.
2. Combine all dry ingredients. Add in eggs, vinegar & water/almond milk and whisk or blend until you achieve a batter-like consistency.
3. Apply cooking spray to the waffle iron, and pour in the batter. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

 

Protein Milkshake Ice Cream

• 1 scoop Protein Milkshake (any flavor)
• 1 teaspoon almond butter
• 1/2 cup almond milk
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Freeze for 45 minutes. Remove & scoop high on top of the waffles.
