Low Carb Mini Cupcake Milkshake Smmothie Shots

These adorable low carb Mini Cupcake Milkshake Smoothie Shots were created by @deb.makes.lowcarb.delish.

Smoothie Shots - Yes Please! These Mini Cupcake Milkshake Smoothie Shots are filled with protein and nutrients, making a perfect post-workout smoothie to share with your gals! They are delicious, creamy, made with healthy ingredients, and they are so darn cute! Cute enough to serve these mini smoothies for brunch, breakfast, or an afternoon snack with your family & friends. Don't be intimated they are super easy to make.

All you need to do is whip up a batch of Protein Milkshake and then serve in chocolate rimmed shot glasses. You can rim the shot glasses in under 5 minutes - seriously. You can make ahead and keep in the fridge. I made these yesterday, and they were perfect this morning.

Mini Cupcake Milkshake Smoothie Shots 

Chocolate Ganache Rimmed Shot Glasses:
Ingredients:
6 shot glasses
1 ounces of sugar-free @lilys_sweets milk chocolate
2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream


Directions:
Place the chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl (wide enough to dip the shot glasses). Set aside
Pour the heavy whipping cream into a microwave safe bowl, heat 30-45 seconds. It should be very warm but not boiling
Pour the warm heavy whipping cream over the chocolate chips. Whisk slowly until smooth and well combined
Dip the shot glass rims into the ganache. Let the chocolate set for 15-30 minutes.

CUPCAKE MILKSHAKE SMOOTHIE:
Ingredients:
1 serving 
Protein Milkshake

1 cup water
3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream (optional)

Directions:
Blend all ingredients in a personal blender. Note: The heavy whipping cream adds extra creaminess but it's not necessary if you don't want the extra calories.
Assemble the smoothies: Pour and divide among the smoothie into each shot glass, dollop a bit of whipped cream on each, and then dust with cocoa powder. Enjoy!
