I've been overweight my entire life and tried many different diets, but nothing ever worked. I was sick of talking about losing weight and never doing anything about it.
In 2016 I set a New Years resolution to lose the weight.I knew it was my last chance to save my life, and to lose the weight on my own.
I started slow doing 30 minutes of cardio five times a week. I started making all my meals at home for the first month, stopped drinking soda, & started counting calories. I spent less time watching television or napping, and more time moving.
I made small changes, but they added up to big results. I set goals and they helped me stay on track and in one year I lost 224lbs on my own without surgery, pills, or a trainer.
I am not the same person I was when 2016 started and I have changed mentally and physically. This is no longer a resolution but has become a lifestyle change for me. I'm happier, stronger, and taking life on everyday. I am finally living the life I wanted, as a healthier, happier me.
